Museo Paleontologico e dell’origine del territorio “Attilio Fedrigo”- Corte Fedrigo - 37060 - Sona
Il museo intitolato ad Attilio Fedrigo è una raccolta di materiali fossili di grande bellezza ed importanza che propone, attraverso alcune centinaia di reperti di provenienza italiana ed estera, un’ampia visione del succedersi delle forme viventi sulla terra, partendo dalle ere più antiche (Paleozoico, oltre 500 milioni di anni fa) fino al periodo Oleocenico (qualche migliaia di anni fa).
Molto importanti all’interno della collezione sono reperti quali: trilobiti, graptoliti, ortocerattidi dell’Era Primaria; grandi ammoniti dell’Era Secondaria; alcuni grandi gasteropodi dell’Era Terziaria, resti di elefanti ed altri mammiferi dell’Era Quaternaria.
Gli esemplari, sicuramente significativi da un punto di vista estetico e quindi espositivo, hanno notevole rilevanza scientifica sia per la rarità sia per l’interesse paleontologico.

Paleontological Museum and Museum on the Origins of the Earth “Attilio Fedrigo” in Sona
The museum entitled to Attilio Fedrigo hosts a collection of fossil materials of great beauty and importance, thus affording a panoramic vision of the succeeding life-forms inhabiting the Earth, from the most ancient eras (Paleozoic Period, over 500 million years ago) up to the Holocenic Period (several thousand years ago) trough hundreds of findings of Italian and foreign origin. Inside the collection you can find very important fossils like trilobites, graptolites, orthocerases of the Primary Era, great ammonites of the Secondary Era, some huge gastropods from the Tertiary, relics of elephants and other mammals of the Quaternary. All specimens, absolutely meaningful from the aesthetic point of view, therefore wonderful to exhibit, are also of great scientific importance both for their rarity and for their paleontological relevance.
